I've been fortunate to hold a number of interesting jobs over the past decade or two: I started out as a blacksmith, then modeled for some of the best designers and managed to fall off several runways; I acted as a part-time insect photographer, then served as webmaster at NASA and later on at Capitol Hill; I now spend my professional time over at the U.S. International Trade Commission.

When I'm not managing web sites or being a geek, I do freelance writing, fence epee, play bass, read up on math, fossil hunt, collect antique books, and obsess a little too much over chess, poker, and backgammon.
